- The breakaway end of the cable contains 37 individually spring-loaded, gold-plated connectors which are held together by magnets
- When married to an adapter “brick”, the cable maintains connectivity while resisting damage and corrosion
- The polarity of he magnets prevent caregivers from seating the contacts in the wrong direction
- If the bed is moved without disconnecting, the cable automatically breaks away from the jack to prevent damage
- The breakaway location can be placed onto, or within 12 inches of the bed or the wall
