• The Tamper-Resistant Alarm includes all the features of our Standard Alarm plus automatic reset buttons instead of an on/off switch that lets you put the system in a temporary "hold" status. This allows the caregiver to assist a patient without disengaging the system and eliminates the risk of inadvertently leaving the system off
• It also helps prevent the patient from attempting to disengage the system
• To stop the alarm, simply press the two red buttons located on either side of the unit. This will deactivate the system and allow the caregiver to assist the patient. Once the system senses weight on the sensor pad, the alarm will reactivate
• For added protection against system tampering, the battery door may be screwed shut. Screw provided to secure the battery door

• The problem with many bed sensor systems is that they alert the caregiver too late. If the alarm sounds after a patient has already sat up, swung his or her legs over the bed, and attempted to stand -- then it may be too late to prevent a fall injury!
