Anti-Rollback Device with Alarm

Features:

• The industry standard for discreet, dignified fall intervention
• Automatically activated system that promotes independence among wheelchair users through a broad range of cognitive abilities. As the user begins to stand, a pair of brake arms instantly grab the tires to prevent the chair from rolling back and away. The greater the rearward force exerted on the chair, the greater the holding power. When the user is seated, the device is in standby mode and the chair moves freely in all directions
• When the anti-rollback device is engaged, the 95 decibel alarm will sound
• Alarm features an On/Off switch, 3.5mm audio jack & LED indiactor, powered by one 9V battery
• Provides anti-rollback automatically, regardless of weight
• 3 height adjustments for regular, hemi and extra low chairs
• 2 depth adjustments move pad forward to accommodate residents who slouch in their chairs
• Articulating/Floating seat pad remains in proper alignment with seat bottom for greater comfort
• Adjustable spring tension to accommodate a variety of seat cushions
• Not affected by pressure relief or gel cushions which can defeat other weight activated brakes
• Center override lever makes backing up an unoccupied chair a cinch

Specifications:

• Fits: Chairs 22'' to 24''
• Sling Seat required, will not work with solid seat wheelchairs
• Compatible with most hemi/low chairs, dual/triple axle chairs, space saver/flip back armrests & bariatric chairs
• Please Note: If installing on a hemi chair, chair must have at least 1'' vertical tubing space directly above the rear axle in order to fit without an adapter
• Requires additional adapter for use with Quickie Breezy Ultra 4/500/510/600, Invacare Insignia, Invacare SX5 High Back/Recliner, Invacare Patriot & Invacare Tracer IV (Please Call 800-323-4282)
